Let longboarders be longboarders you haters…. You love short boards because everyone has one. When I first did a good cross-step I couldn’t stop! It is so adicting. By the way, I also do short board when the swell is bigger but it only gives you adrenaline. Longboard is like pleasure, you almost get stoned longboarding. Now go see your shortboard videos and leave us alone…

I like to shortboard ans longboard, but most if not all “longboarders” just longboard because they dont know how or are just really bad at shortboarding.

I hate to break it to you, but you are going with a current fad as well. If surfing is about freedom wouldn’t the people who truly enjoy short boards be free to use their preferred gear just as much as everyone else?

If you are going to surf a longboard like a shortboard why not just surf a shortboard. HP longboarding almost doesnt exist in the states. Keep it old school.
